About Us
The company Gulfstream Tropical Aquarium, has been established in the market since 1964. Throughout many of these years, its’ operation focused mainly in the South Florida area with the distribution of live brine shrimp, ghost shrimp, blackworms, frozen fish food, live phytoplankton, live feeders, freshwater fish and aquatic plants.
Most recently, in 2001, Gulfstream Tropical Aquarium has expanded to the National and international distribution of the Patented floating magnetic aquarium cleaner: “Mag-Float®” – Awarded as the most innovative invention in the aquatic industry in the year 2000.
In 2005, Gulfstream Tropical Aquarium acquired Mydor Industries, a company established for more than 25 years in the manufacturing of freshwater and saltwater aquarium water conditioners, treatments, and buffers. In 2008 GTA revised the labels and introduced a fresh new attractive look under the registered name Mag-Float Labs®. The trademark name EASE have been kept on the new labels that is widely known throughout the industry.
